best retreive out there?

Guys your opinions on the best retrieve for the different SP's out there

jerkbaits - i suppose speak for themselves
single tails -?
squidgies etc- ?
imitation baits -?

It would be interesting if there is a variation between anglers.

with the single tails that i use i normaly just hop them along the bottom with pauses and twitches same as the squdigies and just watch the line like a hawk for ne hits.

I'm with mike.
I just try to do a slow jerky ritrive and i try to keep my Sp on the bottom.
