Uni-knot!!!

Mate, the best knot to use by far is the double uni knot, its easy to tie and well its never failed for me...and thats a big statement! Others will try and convince you of the albright and "improved versions" which are just @!$#ing difficult to tie and think about it, if a knot needs to be "improved" it mustn't be much chop in the first place!!!!

The other thing about running your fire line straight to the lure, it can be done but mate a clear leader....flurocarbon if possible is a @#%%ing hell of a lot better...it just makes sense.

So, Double Uni Knot With flurocarbon leader and what the hell are you using such heavy fireline and leader for?!?! If it's bream...then I want to know about it!!!!

The Double Uni knot or the albright are the 2 that i find the strongest. if your fishing fireline all the way, you can tie a basic bloodworm knot to the jig head but it is essential to have a leader and prefrebly fluocarbon.
