More to Walpole than just excellent fishing!
Just got back from the land of beauty (Walpole) and had a really relaxing holiday with Andrea.We did a little fishing but really got out and had a look at the surrounds of this stunning wilderness area and was surprised by all the things we missed mainly due to my fishing compulsion.
l cant stress enough to those maybe fishing the ABT RD 2009 to maybe take an extra day and feast your eyes on the marvel of nature that is Walpole and it's many treasures.
Happy New Year to all hope it is a good one for you.

A wee tree l ran into with the Narvara... Just pushed it to the side of the road.

Andrea looks like a wee gnome sitting on this giant of the bush.Makes me "Tingle" all over.

lm a flower power buff...Yeah lm a big girl l know but hey how can you resist this kind of flora both big and small simply beautiful. l love the miniture world that is plants and flowers.

Almost forgot to say... After a tonne of rain the system was ice tea on arrival and my first days fishing was a little hit and miss ,but a little snooping around found the culprits hiding in the "Lipton" tea and then the fun began in earnest.
Like l say fishing did take a back seat this time round but the times l did get out were even more special and the fishing non-stop.Took a couple of the breamaster crew out after meeting the guys on the river and lets just say the fish were willing but some of the crew... Well let's keep that one a secret hey stretch. "Yep lm on...yep...awe...yes...nup...mmm...ohhh...nahhh... ewww...Bugger." A little piss taking was had by some (me) but all in good fun...good to meet the guys and have a laugh.l hope your parents didnt kill you when you got back so late guys,l know l wasnt the flavour of the month when l got back to Rest Point round 9.45PM with Andrea standing on the bank wondering wether ld drowned or something after saying ld be back round 8.30PM.Woops...The torch light was handy when l returned though she was like my own lighthouse...needless to say she was'nt happy Jan.How could we leave a good bite though l told her and all was ok."not".
Managed at one stage to pull 10 fish off one snag and many bust up's in between.Really awesome fishing.You can see the livewell water and see how dark the water was feeding the Frankland from up river in previous pics.

Don't tell anyone.......but i enjoyed the pics.....esp the flowers

I take photos of Roses alot......and Native Fungus......seriously.

Did relise how mountainess it can be there. Very nice.
