for begginers i would recommend strike pro lures just as they are cheap and catch fish just fine, pygmys, smeltas and bass x's all work well.

oh yes, sorry but its a little bit hard to read or understand your grammer

SX40's, jackal chubies, and sugar minnows are good, as for sp's try squidgy flickbaits, gulp shrimps, berley power minnows

All depends on budget dude,

Can't go past the Ecogear SX-40 range of Hard Bodies.
You can find plenty of info if you do a search for them in the forums.

Baby Vibes are always a good option for bridges, pylons etc. Used to be the go to lure in Melbourne before Gulp was introduced.

I personally like the Atomic Fatgrubs, squidgy wrigglers and the like. My fav atm is the Squidgy Bug on the surface and then there is always the Gulp range, especially the 6" Sandworm.

As for jigheads, i use the nitro bream range but there are heaps on the market. Go light and even unweighted.

Hope that helps

I concur.

There's plenty of lures that work well so if it takes your fancy give it a whirl. After all, how you work the lure is probably more important.

For colours on the nong mate i'd do a search in the forums and have a look at the pics, everyone has their own favourite colours. You'll find a lot of post in the Vic Hotspots section, look at the monthly reports in particular

you'd be surprised what colours do work.
