blackies over a kilo had no trouble hooking up(i put size 10 owners on) smaller fish had a few cracks at it and flatties, well you needed pliers to get the lure from some of them they hit it so hard. i havent tried the yellow colour mine were on a purple coloured one also got a natural white/green colour i wanna try.

I used to fish with fizzers bream but they were homemade jobs i use to blitz the bream with them.I ve since switched over to stickbaits and poppers because when you cast with some fiizzers you get counter rotation of the prop and costs you valueble casting distance.

never thought of using a fizzer for bream, used them for bass plenty of times - might have to give a few of the Bassday's a try

Hey,

Used to use that exact fizzer when I first introduced to Bream fishing years ago. I think I still have a few laying around. Upsize the hooks and more fish seem to stick, I also like to use owner ST11's on surface lures. Don't last as long but better hook up rates.

The Bevy prop is a great lure, you can walk and fizz it. The little blade at the back still spins a little after the lure stops. I like the clear one with the little bit of pink or orange on the end.

Pig,

One of the best ways I found to fish it was to give the rod tip a little hop and the lure bounces nose to tip and give off little rings just like a bug in the water. It goes extra well up water ways with plenty of over hanging trees when the Cicada's are buzzing in summer when flicked up into the shade. Bass also take a shine to them.

Cheers,

bevy prop is the fizzer that i like for bream.cant really think of any other bream specific fizzers.i like to rip em pretty hard and short, then let em sit.

def tiny torps etc for bass etc, although i have caught bream on them years ago.

cheers

+1 for the technique but I use a Duel Silver prop 60. Have yet to catch a bream with it but it looks very impressive working across the surface. Regards. HBt.
