Day 2 Gold Coast, Qld Results
Hey guys, just got the latest results from the Gold coast Tourny held over the weekend.
Chris Metcalfe (not sure if he's a toad or a westy   ) won the event, Chris and the next top three competitors all fished plastics around channel markers to bring home the bacon.W.A. Angler Ian Sewell pulled a respectable 8th overall spot and finished as the 2nd best Non Boater. Other West Aussie anglerswho travelled too the event placed as follows: Kurt Blanksby 28th and finished as the 10th best Non Boater Geoff Spadacini finished 33rd and Ira coming from behind with -700g deficit for being late came in at 85th. I'm gonna have to get my self over to one of their comps one of these days, all our W.A. Boys are now going Bass Fishing for a few days before heading home. Who else is foaming at the mouth Well done to all who competed, it sounds as if a great time was had by all. Regards Geoff

If Sewelly fished the other QLD rounds he`d have to be a contender for the QLD team, that`d be awesome. Bloody top effort by all concerned.

Sorry Geoff,but not all the top 4 on the goldcoast fished the channel markers, 2nd place fished deepwater from3m to 7m in the middle of the nerang river and the 3rd placed fished with me on the second day as well. Just thought i would tell it as it was.
