The best thing about daylight savings is being able to knock off work and still get a few solid hours of fishing in.

During winter, it's dark by the time I finish work - and I just cant be bothered, I reckon my wife prefers it though - I don't come home at 10pm smelling like fish

Talking Bream HATE D.L.S.

Yeah I was talking to a Bream Lately and it told me that he was happy that us West Aussies don't have D.L.S. as he reckons that it is bad for his and his mates health. He was telling me how when we used to have it that he was forever getting hooks stuck in his mouth.
(LOL I thought it was funny)
No offence Guys

Question

What The!!!!, How on earth could it affect fishing? There is the same amount of light whether its DLSaving or not. Its advantage is that there is more usable light as not many of us are up at the crack of dawn anyway. I remember when WA had it and some farmers were complaining that "our cows dont know when to eat" What The???!!
Anyways enjoy it if you got it

Mate you don't want daylight saving, we go thru a set of kitchen curtains every year because of that extra bloody hour of sun.

DLS is ok for fishing but it sucks for FOXTEL. Rex Hunt fishing is on too early in the morning now!!!
Nah his shows are pretty average now anyway, especially considering fox shows the same shows over and over!!!

Yeah it's still good, over here in WA we get all shows three hours before Sydney, which i reality is the same time. It makes morning shows become before dawn shows and midnight shows become after dinner shows. It has its good and bad points!
I dont pay, my floks do, so i aint getting rid of it!
