Tips for Perth

I am going to perth this weekend and have some time to kill Sunday morning. I am keen to try for some metro bream but really have no idea where to begin. If anyone can suggests some spots (and closest streets, carparks etc) i would greatly appreciate it and will return the favour if you are heading down denmark way in the future.

depends where you are staying.

perth central recommend the barrack street jetties, from there you can walk west along the bank to the narrows bridge and further along the rock wall to the old swan brewery. been a couple of mullas caught along the rockwall in the past few weeks.

If you walk east from barracks street the rock wall goes all the way to the causway

either should produce some bream for you.

hope ypu have a good weekend

Or there is always the Burswood / Maylands area which seems to produce fairly well. I can personly recommend the area around the windan bridge in particular.
Then there is also the canning...
Good Luck.

Thanks guys.

Transport is fine will have my ute so getting around is no probs. Lived in Perth for 9 years (too long) a while ago so know how to get around. More so that i wasn't into bream fishing when i lived in Perth so never took the time to find spots.

Also don't mind travelling around if it gives me a better chance at landing something.

I had thought about riverside drive and the narrows but just wasn't sure where the fish are likely to be this time of year.
