Which zipbait?

hi all

Which Zipbaits should I look at for shallow water. I'm looking at less than a metre over weed beds but don't want a surface/popper jobby. Open to other suggestions too.

Cheers

Rigge 35F
Rigge 46S
Rigge 56F
Raphael
B-Switcher Craze
Khamsin Jr SR (if you can find one)

They all have their place in that situation. The 46S and 35F would probably be my pick...but the Raphael is also a great lil lure.

The Khamsin works awesome in that situation but they are just incredibly hard to find.

I got every single decent fish in the Walpole ABT on a Khamsin SR, Can't wait for them to come back into stock.

Haha indeed.

Great lil lures the Khamsin...but I still think the 46S is my favourite Zipbait by a fair margin.

Don't worry Superduperman have your favourite colour #505 Carmen Red included in the production run, also an Aussie custom colour "Clear Tiger".

Another good lure for fishing in shallower water is the Orbit Slider 65, 65mm, 5.2g, depth 0.5-0.8m, Suspending.

gimme the raphael any day. I love these things and they even have action on the pause. Apart from that, I did have some success on the orbit slider recently and the 46S

shallow runner

The Riggie 35F and 56F in the brown trout and holographic brown trout are the tops for weedy flats. I go the small bib for weedy areas low tide, and the large bib at high tide...

i must mention that any brown or greeny colour seems to work best over weed. My fav is the metallic green raphael, snaking its way through the kelp piles.
