yamatoyo on 1000

hey fellas
juz wondering if puttin sum 3pound yamatoyo fluro (mainline) is ok to put on a 1000 size reel?will there be too much line memory?

Hi Marcus i dont know if it will have too much memory but i would try it out and see.

how big is the fish in your profile pic? it looks masive what did you catch it on and where?

yer i wouldnt think think that a fluro would have too much memory but worth a shout out to see if anyone uses the stuff. umm that fish was 43cm from the docklands earlier this year. i was thrilled with it!

I've only used the Yama soft on a 1000, but I would have thought the lower pound Yama would be fine as well. Especially after a few outings.

The yama soft more than the pure fluro. I use it mainly on the flats and clear water. Great line, never really had an issues with it.
