Smile Daiwa procaster

Hey Guys & Gals,

I was looking at the pro caster range of rods today and thought the procaster X was a bit too expenive for me as I only want to spend about $70. I was thinking about the original procaster but was unsure if it was worth it so im asking you guys iwhat you think of the original procaster or if I should get a different rod.

Cheers

G'day surfer,

I just purchased a procaster myself last week. The rod looked the goods and was a bit cheaper than some of the other rods i looked at.

Anyway, i christened it on the weekend, with a respectable 7 fish in a two hour session. Best fish went 34cm, but most were littlies around the 20cm mark.
I was stoked with the performance of the rod, had it fully loaded on the bigger bream and felt quite confident of its capabilities.

So yeah mate, only early days yet for mine, but id already recommend them.

Cheers

MATT
