re: Polycraft 4.1 Challenger

hey guys in qld i can pick up a 4.1 sideconsole challenger for just $13,750 with a 40hp 2st mercury. i was wondering how they are as i've only experienced a 5.3 centre console polycraft. would it go quite quick with a 40hp 2st mercury or maybe see if i could get a 50hp 2st yama for it with all tournament requirements. e.g 2pob, livewell etc.

any information on boats BN for under 18K would be greatly appreciated.

My 4.1 tiller with a 40hp 2stroke on the back does 25-26knots on the GPS with two people and a full livewell.
I'd still probably go the 50hp if you can afford the $$$ just to get the max performance that you can.....

I have the 4.1 SC with 50hp 4 stroke yammy - go the 50hp otherwise you may struggle in some conditions.
