New rod, replacement needed. help!

Hey,

I currently own (for bream) a G loomis DSR820 S GL2,
And yesterday i had a starlo stick, Squidgy spin 2p Light 7'2" 2-4kg. I was going to Upgrade it anyway but i took the little sister for a fish yesterday (shes disabled) and when she got her first lure bream (ever) she decided to Throw the rod into the drink. That wasnt the problem, as it was only 3metres or so, so i jumped in. The problem was when she took it off me so i could get in the tinnie, SNAP! ohh, crap but least it wasnt the G loomis.

So heres the real question. I want to upgrade to some sort of flueger or Pro tactic. What sort i bream rod would i be looking at and how much can i get one on the goldie??
Cheers

What's your little sister got? I'm not trying to be mean, my Mum is a Special Education teacher so i know a bit about things like that-and i've always been curious as to that sort of stuff too. It's good that you take her fishing! How old?

As for the rod i could personaly recommend the 2-4kg 7' 1 piece Pflueger Trion with a long cast butt section. I own one and it's great!

Isaac.

Ha, glad ya got a sense of humour!

Nah like you not into crap rods, I only go for the Hastings Graphite USA United and Pioneers series with Daiwa Certate and Lagunas with Line system.

Question To Try Hard Re;- Pflueger Trion???

Hi,Try Hard,

You have mentioned you''re Pflueger Trion before! Is it the double Cork Handle mondel? Or,
the Black double handle model?
They seem to becoming more popular here in Victoria, over the past 4 to 6 month's.
Are they 7' or 7'3" ?

Thanks in advance ;-)

Gae.

Thanks for that BQ, what's she like...does she scream, is she really quiet, does she do things in a very particulay way??? btw...what's your real name and how old are you...i can't pick it from your photos???

Gae, the Pfluegers have cork hanndles...the lighter models use really ergonomicly designed reel seatsmade out of cork that fit your hand sweatly!

Cheers,
Isaac.

Rod Butt

Heres a shot of my 7' 3-6kg Trion's butt section....my light one lives at my Dad's house. The middle cork section on my 2-4kg is the reel seat and it's not with my 3-6kg.
