Deep River

Just wondering if Deep River in Walpole is deep enough to fish with a boat as I know it is really shallow and if it is worth fishing ?

The first section of the deep river is pretty shallow. If you can get your boat through, and as long as it is a rising tide (so that you don't get stuck up there) you will more than likely catch a few decent fish.

If you have never had a look it is definitely worth doing it at least once. I have fished up as far as you can get a boat and caught some pretty good fish as well.
