Advice needed !!!!

Hi all

I am just starting to fish for bream with lures and just bought myself a Daiwa Heartland z 601LFS and Daiwa Laguna 1500 and im wondering what sort of line/braid, lures etc should I use with this combo????

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Hey Mate.
Great to see a newbie on here.
Your setup is aawesome, particularly as a first!
I'd go and get some 4lb Fireline as your main line, and a nice thin, and clear mono (or FlouroCarbon) as you leader material. Strength of you leader will depend on your fishing conditions, but i find 6lb or 8lb to be a happy medium!
Lures will depend on where you live.
I'd go with the proven lures. Gold Oargees and Sneay Scorpions are awesome hardbodies, and the PumpkinShrimp and Muscadine Sliders are premium SoftPlastics!
I'm not goin to go into too much depth on lures, as there is a wealth of info in the Archives.

I hoping to enter the WA BREAM comp when it starts again so im trying to get as much advice, tips and practice prior to it starting
