Question Jig heads with bibs

I was in Big-W today buying jig heads and i saw a packet of pre rigged soft plastics and i noticed that the jig heads had little rubber bibs .

What do you guys think of this???

Cheers

Years ago there were SP's around called Scroungers that had that set up. They designed like that to stir up plenty of bottom & have a bit more action. They were very effective on flatties & we used to get a few bream too but back then flatties were the target. Some guys used to target jewfish with the large versions of them that weighed about 3 ounces. They were pretty effective on the Jews as well. Showing my age now That was back in about 1980 or so

The 3 Ounce scroungers are what I used to chase jewies in the Coorong with many many years ago (late 80's from memory)
They were incredibly effective.
I was looking through my tacklebox the other weekend and found quite a few of them

It's gonna be interesting testing different tail types with these jig heads!

This is a jig made by waterland (japanese again)
it sinks like a normal jig
but the bib makes it wobble and roll just like a HB, except it swims towards the surface
