Im 15 and I was wondering, do u have to be in a fishing club to go in these bream tournaments??? If so can anybody advise me on where a good club is in the gold coast and the address so i can join. If not how to i sign up for one of these tornaments??? I am very new to the wonderfull art of bream fishing with soft plastics and i think if i go in a few of these tornaments that i will be able to learn loads more stuff.

no you dont have to be in a club to go in the abt tourniments.
there are a few different types of abt. they are... the summer series events, the mini bucks, the mega bucks and the qualifiers. the summer series and mini bucks are teams events who you find either a boater or a non boater to compet with you as a team. the qualifiers are to qualify for the abt grand final but you need to sign up as an abt member. i think from memeory its about $50 a year when u first sign up and then its $30 for when you renew it the next year. you can also make it to a grand final in the mini bucks and summer series events were all the teams that qualify go to fight it out for a new skeeter.
