Smith Camion SR

Has anybody tried this lure? 32mm, shallow running and floating by design.

Looks good, but does anybody have any tips?

Also, with Jackall Chubbies, do you think the enormous bib on the deep divers deters bream?

P.S. this is a second post coz one of the mods deleted it oh well

i have the deeper diving version of the smith camion, good little lure i have caught some nice bream on them, i do find that they rise to the surface to quickly but it's easliy fixed by adding bigger spilt rings and one size larger hooks and from what i can see this hasnt affected the lures action at all

Camion

Camion is a hybrid crankbait for trout. The fat body equipped with internal tungsten weight produces various actions. By extremely slow retrieve, it swims like a dying fish; by slow retrieve, like a tadpole or a beetle and by medium retrieve, like a diving caddis fly, etc. It deserves to be called “hybrid”. By using SR (shallow runner) or DR (deep runner) as appropriate, you can fish all depths from surface water to the bottom

hey!

Sssshhhhhhh!

These lures are gun, in all three styles, super shallow, deep and the newly arrived magnum dredge(super deep),

I had great success using a whole bunch of smith lures during the recent Vic bream classic scoring the bulk of my fish on the first day on the camion pictured above in colour 02 and then on Jade MD's on the second day (the quieter lures/no rattle) tended to work best on a harder second day of the tournament...

Check the Crystal Alive out too, these are awesome also.....
