Paint Baby Vib 35 black?

Has anyone painted a Baby Vib 35 black and used it?

They hold an uncanny shape to a Swan black mussel.

Just the right size to fit in their gob

That means I have to venture intot he ladies department and buy nail polish

Nail polish maybe a bit heavy though and effect the lures action?

personally i wouldnt bother with nail polish, ive drawn stripes and spots on some of my vibes with a black permanent marker and it works fine and only starts to come off after a few fish and can easily be coloured back in.
just leave the coloured vibes for a couple of days to allow for the smell to go away, either that or set up the lure infront of a fishtank filter so its continually swimming for a few hours and it seems to get rid of the smell but not remove the colour.
ive got a photo on here somewhere of a bream caught on one of my "custom" coloured vibes.
ended up giving up on the idea because all the colours work and i really see little difference in catch rates between one colour and the next
cheers
luke

Ok Baby Vibe users,
here's your chance to have some input on Baby Vibe colours, would you like to see a baby vibe done in black?

Personally, I'd like to see one the reverse of the baby bass. Black with gold stipes. Been a very good colour with some other lures.

Instead of new colours I'd prefer paint that doesnt chip and eyes that dont fall out.

Cheers,

I know where you're coming from, but would you prefer to pay 20dollars a vibe? Personally i think that the paint jobs are sufficient for a 10dollar lure.

You're right Harry, but it's still annoying, Mira Shads are $12 but they have good paint jobs and Owner hooks.

Bears black with gold and maybe a tinge of turquoise if it is feasible.

I know they're Di-Chromatic

Mussels have that gloss shimmer to them.

I was having a closer look at them the other day and they have the brown with some turquoise.

Bream snap/crunch at any mussel the size of a baby vibe taking it whole.

Same shape too..

The mussels do gradient black to brown sheen which could be interpreted as gold.

Also being Di-Chromatic black would contrast immensely for them in light laden water amongst shadows?

Being Di-Chromatic maybe pattern , gold etc established by Bear and rest of Breammaster?
