Thinnest Braid available?
What is the thinnest braid available? out of the 3 braids I've used (Fins, Sufix matrix Pro and Rapala Squidgy braid) Sufix is the thinnest so far. The reason i ask is that i do alot of light tacvkle inshore work and i need the extra capacity on small reels.

from what ive used, matrix pro is by far the thinnest, fireline crystal in 3lb is my favourite braid though, its super thin and tangle free, ive spun up tailor, small salmon and bonito on the 3lb and couldnt fault it, ive had problems with matrix pro when casting slices and heaver jig heads due to the fact when i bimini and albright (or Double Uni) the strands of the braid will catch the tag end of my albright causing me to bust off! it sh!ts me thats why i changed.
what are you targeting mate?

Tailor, baby Sambos, little kingfish, salmon, just general inshore fish where there is the chance of a big one coming along. I use long leaders so abrasion resistance isn't a major concern for me.

IGFA Castaway is one of the thinnest braids that is out on the market. It is a superior quality braid and the lowest it comes in is 10lb if I remember correctly but has the diameter of 2lb.
It will break at it's breaking strain as it is IGFA, it is subtle, casts very well and overall is a great braid to use. I think u'll enjoy using it.
