orgees

Hi there,
i was wondering if anybodyelse has had any troble with the bibs on orgees.
we have had two out of the four that we have , the bibs come loose and the lure wont swim anymore..
other than that they are one of the better lures around and catch heaps of fish.
cheers, steve..

you get that

Hi Steve

you get that sometimes. Just use a little Araldite (Expoxy Glue) or as I do an Aero Modeling Superglue which that fills and sets in 15 secs. I use that supergle on my jigheads as weel and hey it works. I got 2 Oargees last week with loose bibs and fixed them with the superglue but be careful as I was telling Kingpin today what a goose I was when a dribble of superglue managed to glue my index finger and thumb to the treble.

Smile Hey Guys

You guys are spot on, Oar-Gee's are wild lures and I too have a collection of Battle scared and Bibless lures (I am a huge fan of OAR-GEE'S ). Now to be fare, I missed cast a few and ended up with a few damaged lures, and I have a particular Gold Oar-Gee That Breamzilla could get a set of Denches made from, the paint missing is substantial.
I asked the Bream Master if we could get some bib's in from Oar-gee and the actual owner creater said " if you snap the bib's off my lures post em back to me and I will attach another one". The reason obviously is that they need to be adjustable for tuning purposes, even though super glue can do the job I reckon I'll send mine back.
Stay Tuned and I'll find out how to go about it
Regards Geoff

I'm still laughing about that JP.
Thanx again for taking me out mate. Really appreciate it!
Yeah oargee's are fast becoming my favourite. I am yet to have a problem though.

I have four oargees and never had a problem with the bibs, maybe I am one of the lucky ones!! They are a great lure though, and catch fish very well!!!!

Geoff, let us know when you find out who/how to send lures back to. I have a few bibless OarGees that are desperate for a swim!

I had similiar happen to a couple of my oargees, I returned them to my local tacklo where he replaced them with his stock while waiting for replacements. I talked to the maker of oargee while I was at the shop and he hadn't heard of this happening before, this was about a month ago. I think he thought I was trying to rip him off.
