Hi Donna

Hi Donna,

Welcome to Breammaster. Nice to see another female on board. There was only 3 females until you arrived, and as I have said before, "This is not a male only sport".

Please tell us about yourself I had a look at your bio and you seem to be into some unusual stuff.

Drop in and say hi.

I don't bite much.

Cheers,

Mim

Hi Mim,
Thanks for the warm welcome I have been fishing since I was a young kid as my Dad was a very keen fisherman so you could say I was born to fish!
Fished salt water most of my life, then took up flyfishing 3 years ago and love fishing for trout in the Blue Mountains and the Snowy mountains.
Went fishing today with my husband and caught some great Bream and Flathead on plactics for the first time, can now say that fishing plactics is great fun.

Cheers
Donna.

Thanks for getting back Donna,

We used to do jetty fishing as kids with parwns, squid or sardines. I have always enjoyed fishing and luckily I met JP and he shares my passion for fishing.

JP was fishing for Bream with hard bodies when I first met him, I still used the prawn. Slowly but surely I started using lures. I started with softies too. When we went to the comp in Albany everyone was catching fish on hard bodies, so I thought I had better learn how to use them. Walpole was the first time I actually landed a fish on a hard body. It was awesome.

In the last comp here in Perth I mixed up what I was using and caught Bream on both hard an soft. It was cool.

So where do you work? I noticed that you are a chef.

I am a poor uni student doing a Master of Public Health

Cheers

Mim
