Dont push it back on mate., pull out a bit of line, hold against the blank, nice n tight and reel it on so it is flat on the spool. Should work.

Cheers

you will get alot of these tangles wen fishing sp's. the best thing 2 do is evry 10 or so casts throw a long one in so all the loose line goes out then just wind it in while applying sum pressure so it goes on flatter.

the line may be too heavy. ive got a penn 3000 and used to have 8lb line on it and it worked just fine except it was a little loose.
try something lighter like 6 lb fireline line. thats what ive got on and ive had no troubles at all

8lb should be fine just dont fill the braid to the top of the spool leave about 4-5mm from the edge and i guarantee you wont get any tangles, and make sure the braid is put on tight

cheers mate

a trick to put the line on tight is to wrap a cloth around your hand and grip the fishing line and the rod together with your hand and wind the line on your fishing reel. with the pressure of your hand griping on the line it will force u to reel an extra bit harder to put the line on. this will result in tight line wrapped on your reel.

I dont reccomend this... it will result in tangles mid-air or straight off the spool. Most will easy pull apart, some will tangle and result in loss of 10 mtrs or more of line...
