Shimano Stradic 1000

To all these guys asking about good reels, imo the shimano stradic 1000 has gotta be the best value for money bream reel on the market at the moment. At $179, and the quality of the reel inc a spare spool its a great buy!! Any1 else agree???

Could'nt agree more mate. l have 2 2500's and 4 1000's and none of them have missed a beat in performance stake's.Handle big bream with serious ease hey.
The 2500's can easily take care of themselves on skippy, dart and smaller golden trev',tailor, flathead, queenie'sand jewie's too.Bit of my all rouder at time's.Great smooth drag system and dont have a trouble casting them as l hear so many do.

I prefer the stradic to the affinity, I've only heard good reviews of them and mitches affinitys anti-reverse went after a couple of trips. 10 years of warrenty is a bonus too.

Thumbs up stradics

The anti reverse on my affinity went off a bit too but my stradic is still pretty much the same as when i bought it.
