2nd hand boat advice

G'day guys, the purpose of this thread is to hopefully get some feedback on the specific things to look for when buying a second hand tinnie. The model in mind is a 3.85 Stacer Proline with a 15hp mercury 4stroke. From the information I have, it has only been used to punt around freshwater.

Any information, tips or advice would be well appreciated,

Cheers lads,

Rich,

PS Can anyone let me know how to post photos.

G' day Richie the photo's need to be 500x500 size.
Just re size them on your computer, save them then go down to 'attach file' and click on ;browse...' Then its as easy as finding your photo's and clicking the open button.

Hope that helps...

cheers, Nathan

heyy mate

i have a sea jay angler 3.55 with a honda 15 and its on a dunbier trailer, it came with a canopy and carpeted seats and all saftey gear and a 12lt fuel tank, it was all basicly new and in good condition the motor just needed a sevice but i got it all for $4500 which was a great deal. wat u have to look out for is the quality of the boat the motor and the trailer, make shore the motor works and look for things that are broken and mention that to the seller and try to get it for a lower price also look out for rust on the trailer and inside the motor and u should be rite mate

cheers
