No worries BA,

I meant the 60 shad for sure but not the buggi pop as there is a new R2S 45 shad that has come out, just a smaller version of the current 60 - and looks awesome, just havnt used them that much at the moment.

cheers
.

G'day bream addict
i think Richo has given you a great selection already
you have already mentioned the sx-40's the only
others that come to me mind 4 me would be halco 35mm
sneaky scorpions & oargee lil rippers & another suggestion
on the Attacks already mentioned would be try the orange
tiger colour (awesome!!!!!)
hope this helps

You could start by specifying what is it exactly you hope to catch with your lures.. If its bream, I only have a few strikepros and a few sx-40s and I'm happy with the 2 types...

If I had money to spend and I had to spend it on fishing stuff I'll just get more strikepros and more sx-40s. Simple philosophy for me, if its workin' why change it. I'd rather have more of the same type of lure that I'd eventually use than a few that will end up as key chain ornaments or christmas tree decorations..

mate i already got all colour sx and most colours in the strikepro range, there is plety of othere lures that work mate ,and dont cost 20 bucks a pop, i spose im just open minded and dont just wanna follow the crowd, wanna branch out and have other hbs to fall back on when the sx arent doing their thing.of course they are workin for u if thats all u have

Maybe you should try some different styles of HB - poppers, lipless crankbaits or pencil baits. The online store has Sugoi and Cotton Cordell lipless cranks, Alluring Lures, SMAK and River2Sea poppers (the R2S Buggi pop is great on bream , although its not listed in the online store), Predatek Spaddlers are a good topwater lure - maybe email and see if they are available (other Predatek lures are), Taylor Made are also listed in the store, but their fizzers and poppers are not.
There are no pencil baits in the store that I can see, not sure whether people are regularly fishing with them for bream, but I have a Zara Puppy that I'm going to try out soon.
Hope this helps,
Wakd.

No worries, I forgot to mention R2S have a new small lipless crank that is sposed to be pretty good on bream - the Vib35 it's called, think there is a picture on the forums here somewhere...

wakd's right, SURFACE LURES GALORE!!!! I doubt they'll work on Melbourne bream during Winter, but there's nothing stopping you giving them a shot, and even if they don't work then, they might work in Summer. Trust me, as soon as you start getting surface hits you won't want to use anything else. It's THAT addictive.
