Tracker deck rebuild pt2

Been a busy boy this weekend. Should have been pouring a shed slab but mother nature obviously wanted me to do the boat first.

So this is the stage Im at.

Have put in all the framework and cross pieces etc.

Have put in all the straps and laid carpet in for lockers.

Have laid in carpet and fixed it all down (about 100 rivets and that hands havent been this sore for a while)

Cut out the decks (and stuffed a brand new jigsaw bought saturday arvo- warranty job sorted it for me this arvo)

Now im ready to start carpeting this week. All the hinges and latches have arrived too.

I will be attacking the block foam supplies at Clark Rubber this coming week too- cutting and fitting it where I can under the deck.

Heres tonights completed pics- still plenty of ally shavings and bits of carpet to fix up.

Ooh tracker now has a rod locker. Split doors to open it all or just the reel end in case I only need to access that bit. Will be set so the larger door opens the smaller one, but the smaller will be able to be opened by itself.

Another shorter locker for a net and a few bits and pieces.

This hatch in the centre will be for fishing gear etc but when I enclose it and give it a floor, I will set it so I can pull internal panels out to check the inside of the hull and install foam pieces.

Cheers mate, its taken alot longer than hoped. But Ive just stuck carpet on the fixed panels this evening and will get to do the staples tonight whilst watching TV- too bluddy cold to be outside tonight.

Also installed two rod holders this arvo for trolling in exmouth- sailfish here I come!

And got a tube of duralac to do all my stainless fixings with- that stuff aint cheap but from what I hear this tube should last longer than I do.
