The real looks fantastic. I wish I had the confidence to pull a real apart to service it let alone what you did.

As long as you logically lay it out when you disassemble it there shouldn't be any issues, its not like a car engine that requires specific torque settings or special tools. Just work in a left to right - top to bottom with disassembly and lay it out as it comes out in that fashion and you'll do well.

Just watch those needle bearings in the Anti Reverse - if they're worn they have a tenancy to fall out - hence the paper rolled up in them...

Taking a few photos while you're pulling your reel apart can be a big help as well.

good idea, thats especially when it comes to those shims on the drive gear, usually two or more on the left hand side of the drive - pays to count and write it down.

Also be careful when stripping down outside as the wind can blow these shims away they're that light!
