It's a good argument from both sides, the reason I have jumped ship is because my initial concerns were put at bay (keep in mind I made my mind up after watching 3 'promotional' video's which no doubt exaggerated their effectiveness). now I am basing my opinion purely on Steve's and Jason's personal 'experience' and observation with the product rather than my own speculation.

I do agree however that their is a difference in principle between sounders/leccy's and these.

yeah I know what you mean... I agree there is a difference, but I don't think (at this point) that it is enough to place a blanket ban on the hydrowave. I'm not saying that we shouldn't investigate it further either, it just seems that now I've looked into it people are being a bit hasty to pass comment e.g, my first comments on this thread.

I don't think this thread is about discussing about there being a difference... it would be hard to argue otherwise. It's about determining whether it is different in such a way and to a point that it warrants being banned.

Yep, I think the guys using these in competition should make it clear so we can see what is happening in the development of this thing

A good debater will play the issue and not the man.

I obviously have a vested interest in every sponsor of ABT and every advertiser in Fishing Monthly Magazines, but I don't see you hitting below the belt when I talk about any other companies.

Did you even read my post that said that I've weighed fewer bream since owning one than before I had a Hydrowave?

Sit back, relax, and watch the show.. TBH I can't see what Steve has done wrong, he has informed everyone (honestly) of his experiences with the product and a few keyboard warriors thought it would be a good chance to start a debate and boost their internet ego.

Steve clearly has more experience and knowledge in the field of fishing than most of the fishermen on this forum so maybe we should show some respect to his words instead of trying to pick out the smallest of shortcomings.. We might even learn something from him in the proces!
