Stephen, sounds like a lot of work went into the design and should pay dividines big time. I was interested in the fact that you went for an internal POD which is at ods with current trends. More amazing is the potential stern loading with the OB....did you put counter ballast in the forward section?

I am pointing a mate to this forum who is in the market at the moment so he might give you a call.

Cheers,
Ajax

Hi there Ajax
we went for the internal spashwell (engine well) because we wanted to house the battery, bilge pumps, kill switch,
livewell pump etc. but as this is just the proto type any new splashwell would be moulded and much smaller.
As for the motor the e-tec only weighs 138kg and with the casting platforms live well electric motor and batterys it sits perfect at rest and with people in it as can be seen in the photos.
The other reason we went this way with the spashwell if you look at any of the latest bass boats from the states and any high performance craft none have pods off the back of these boats. I cant remember the reason at the moment but was told by someone that used to race in the Bridge to Bridge races but i cant remember (if someone could fill us all in i would be greatful).
Anyway if your mate would like, tell him to give me a call and i would be happy to let him know about it.
catch ya

Yep it's the same boat Steve, it's my mates, he lends it to me when he's not using it and to fish the comps. Goes great, I can bream fish plus take it out through the bar and fish the Southern Ocean. Best riding bream boat I've been in, and I've been in a few now. I just finished raising the motor and re-propping her(alli), It's like a new boat, pops onto the plane quicker, handles better, better fuel economy and I've got a few extra knots out of her.

Madfish, thats good of your mate
these glass boats are miles ahead in ride and handling
Would you buy one yourself?????
and now the price seems to be much better than tin that used to be one of allys advantages not any more
Glass also is much more stealth than ally

I would buy one Steve, especially if I could get your fore deck setup with a slightly altered rear setup for a tiller steer, I'd jump at it. I love the room a tiller steer offers and I dont mind sitting back there steering the big 1500 fourbanger.
