Nice outfit Stephen. Looks like a great allround outfit. I like your motor choices as well (front and rear). I've got the same elec, and I'm extremely pleased with it. The faster turning head is a real improvement over the older ones, cable steer may have had the advantage before, but not so much now. I'm running 2 130 amp batts on mine, I'd be interested to know what sort of run times you get with 100's
I looked at these hulls myself last year, but without knowing anyone who owned one was a bit concerned about the stabilty side of things. It would make an interesting comparison with mine. I hate to admit it, but with the 90 driving that thing you may be quicker than me (not by much I hope )Anyway, I hope it bring you mucho happiness and heaps O fish.

Looks like a great boat Steve ,I'm sure the long wait was worth it.
Have you givein it a run on the bay/openwater at all ? Would love to hear how she handles a bit of chop compared to your old Quintrex. Btw what speed you getting her up to ?? Aka Troy |

Hi there Captn yes same Wilson who was driving the 5.5 tennasee that was an awsome boat .
Angry i had the 100amps with the 65lb on the last boat and i would get 2 days out of her i havent used this one yet as i am handing the 65lb back for the new 74lb Blunt at the moment we are just setting the hieght of the motor and we are getting 46 m/h out of her but when we change props this week i think we will get close to 50 m/h the reason i picked this hull was that i like to fish outside as well and it goes through chop like a dream much softer and smoother that the Top Ender which was a great boat too. At rest it is very stable If anyone is interested it may become a perminent model in the Haines Hunter line up as this is there first proto type and they are really happy how it is turning out There dealers havent even seen it yet on talking to Haines about what they think the retail price for the finished hull will be they expect it to be much cheeper than a 475 hornet. they are looking at powering the hull between 75 to 115 but we will see

Stephen, thats a bloody nice boat mate! curious though, thats a big donk for the length...is it within Hains spec? I assume it is. I have a 475 Stacer and I was not able to put a 90 out back due to their specs.
You would go a long way to find better than your rig, well done! Cheers Ajax |

hi there Ajax ..thanks for the comment
As i only fish comps about 20% of my fishing i needed a boat that is going to do all the other types of fishing that i do here on the gold coast we have some fantastic waterways and its a 5min. run from the ramp to outside so i like to duck out and see whats going on in the blue water as well. After a lot of looking around i aproached Haines Hunter and asked them if we could do something and they agreed ... we chose the 4.9m Breeze as the best allround size for the job and after nearly a year this is what we come up with ... now if they run this as a normal model. they would mould up alot better than the finish of this boat. every thing we did was hand made. So it took a long time and a lot of labour. when it was nearly finished you could hear the buzz around the factory as all the workers from ther other departments come around to see this new model develop. They are now all really excited with the project and they are waiting to see what sort of response we get from the public. The hull is rated for 90hp but as you can see from the photos she sits perfectly with the 90. 75hp to 90hp is perfect for this hull Haines Hunter thought that we could even get 115hp depending on weight but we will see. Anyway we have still a few things to finish off yet , like clip-in carpet ,removeable seats for the back corners and some steps off the back that wrap around the sides slightly to help as bumpers for the racks, so as soon as we finish i will post some more pix. Golden Monk i think we are aiming for around $12000 for a complete hull with all the bells and whistles so all you will need is a motor ,trailer and eletric motor so she will be $1000's of dollars cheaper than a 4.75 Hornet say with a 75hp we would probably be looking in the higher $20000's but we are not sure yet as we still havent done the full figures ... hope this helps. if you guys would like some more info just give me a call on 0412084867 and i will be able to answer any questions thanks all
