Double hooks
This has been asked in another thread recently, but nobody has answered it so I thought I could get more attention ths way.
Where can I get some double hooks to replace the trebles on my small hardbodies? Either online or in a store (Sydney preferably). |

You can always use a pair of sidecutters and trim off one point. I have done it on bigger lures, especially bibless minnows to get the more streamlined flow of water past the lure body at higher speeds

the only problem with cutting one side off a treble is can't just slide them on and off like OE doubles. if you use a split ring, they don't sit right along the body.
The only place I've seen them was a while ago, but only in large sizes, and they are expensive (even at wholesale level). I'll check one source and try and get back to you.

Thanks, I can't find them anywhere.
Even the US sites don't seem to stock them. Maybe they'll become common again when the Flopy lures make a comeback. |

I just realised that the R2S Bubble Pop comes with Daiichi doubles in about size 8.
Does anybody know any shops that carry this brand? The Daiichi website doesn't list doubles with the product list. |

I've found a shop in Sydney that has heaps of size 8 Daiichi doubles in stock.
Not sure of a price yet, he said about 10c each but it depends how many I buy. PM me if you're interested and I'll try to get some for you. |
