Do Redfin move when you hook them over there? Fight like plastic bags here...

Those pike look so fun. And those bass, man!

Haha keep posting, it's always good seeing something different.

Damn!!!! 2.5kg perch.....I can only dream....I get all excited when I catch a 1.75lb US Cousin yellow perch. Mine here fight pretty good for their size....Greay fun on 1-3 kg rods and sp and small hb's. Welcome to the site by the way. Great gear you have for sure. Kinda makes me regret selling all my megabass bling.....Then again nah! G Loomis all the way for me......LOL

Because I mainly use me Baitcasters for BlackBass fishing. When Bass fishing with Jigs or Texas Rigs for example, you need to set the hook very violent with a completely closed brake in order to hook the Bass properly and pull it out of the cover as quick as possible. Doing this with braided line, you run a high risk of ripping the lure out of the fishes mouth and lose the Bass. Mono has much more strech compared to braid, so you loose less fish during the fight (BlackBass tend to jump and shake their heads a lot during the fight). Another advantage: you have siginficantly less birdsnest when casting with Mono.

On spinnings it I usually use braided lines with approx. 0.5m - 1m. FC leader.

Steez 2004 on a Berkley Pro Tactic 2-4kg 6'7"
Pflueger Patriarch 64WLP on a Mojiko Tournament 6-10kg - I should have wiped it down before the photo.
