Yeah i think i have seen that rod you have on this site somewhere that is a serious bit of bling. I imagine it looks awesome when loaded up with a big kingy.

So the three newest items to my collection are
Megabass Racing Condition 256 spooled with 8lb Frog
Daiwa Gekkabijin MX 2004 spooled with 6lb TD sensor
And a second Daiwa 2010 Certate 2004 Spooled with 4lb sunline fluoro
How do you find the gekka, G? Better than other reels in that price range?

hmmm yeah I guess so mate. Nice reel for the 200 mark. Also has an insanely loud drag which I love. Looks good, feels good, sounds good. Trying to think of another reel in the price range thats similar but the brain isnt working atm...

I'm loving the feel of mine, freshly spooled now with sunline super PE 8lb in white - just need to take her for a flick now
