thanks heaps mate. looking at my rod now i'd probably have to strip off the entire butt to fit it in which case it probably isn't worth it. i think it's time for a change and a new rod anyway

bit long? Its only 6'10" mate...just like my 7'2" vigore...haha.

Cheers fellas, christened it today. Its definitely beefy for bream but it suits my style of breaming anyway so its all good!

New RCS spool arrived for my 2500 size luvi.
2000 size is currently pending due to lack of stock.
should be here soon in a few days hopefully.

looks sweet Pivot, im getting the Red 2506 spool for mine ( silver luvi ) was thinking also bassart spin cap ( red too ) and red Zpi handle or something along those lines.

So, I'm guessing you are aiming for the Daiwa Fuego impression, yeah?
Should look hella good. Can't wait to see a few pic's.
Also on that note, got hold of a few batteries for my actual camera and started shooting a few more.
Very happy with the outcome I must say. Can't waiit till my 2004 one arrives sooner this week or next week.

While I love the luvias reels, I'm not a huge fan of the blue one, but that looks sweet as Pivot !!!

Its the nitlon PE from my old zillion... going to load it up with either sunline castaway OR Daiwa egi censor braid when I feel the need to.
But for the meantime, I'm just sticking with nitlon.
P.S this is what Im using for barra, it's lighter to hold then my bream combo
