Ordered my first custom rod built by Mark Newcombe. Its a BREAM TACTIC, Matrix 4-10lb, 7', with titanium "tidalwave" microwave guides (won best in show fishing accessory, iCAST 2013)

Here are a couple of pictures.

$310 delivered but the tidal wave guides were a free upgrade. Delivery is $30 delivered nationwide, tracked, signed etc.

I have gone for minimal bling option, just want performance and at that price I'll be getting the MHX blank in 4-8lb for hardbodies.

Blooding it on Wednesday. Not too many tidal wave owners here in Aus they are obviously designed for the salt being titanium. The microwave technology allows you a more effortless cast therefore more accuracy and longer sessions.

Have a look at it in action, this is not the titanium series but from a line management perspective it is the same. The stripper guide is a size 20 taken down to a 6 (works like a funnel). The Titanium is obviously lighter and more corrosion resistant.
