Nice buy! I have been searching for a 103 in good condition for a fair while now, probably be easier to find a needle in a hay stack! Were these from OS? What sort of condition are they in, look unused in the pic! Very jealous!

I love my 103HL and the spool is probably the fastest that Daiwa ever made. I gave mine an upgrade of Hedgehog Air bearings and then....wow.

They pop up on fleabay from time to time and last week I saw a mint one with ZPI Racing Formula spool sold for only $380. That spool in Mazjora colour (the ito colour) alone could easily cost $100-$150 depends on condition.

If you could read Japanese they are pretty easy to find on auction sites and second hand sites as well.

Yeah I have found a good source on a Japanese auction site, but I really want one in unused or perfect condition. It's such a shame that so many of them are destroyed cosmetically! I'll just keep my eye out I guess, if anyone notices a NIB or close to perfect reel let me know!

got pe6 in it and i think i could get around 400m of it. Will be changing it to pe8 soon and the new one will run pe10
