yeah its a wonder i can pick it up at 250 grams lol which is understandable with 13 or 14 bearings in her and i need extra with 8ft6'' rod..its pretty much a certate hyper custom with a couple of extra bearings..

Nice rod by the look of it mate. I like the stock samurais 101's-very light and finesse in a good way. How's yours differ in being a 6'6" rod and is it an extra fast? Are there different components on yours comparing to the stock 101?

The components are probably the same. It's cut down from the butt end. Still with the Ex-fast action.

It's cheaper for me to get them built than it is to buy a Reaction off the shelf.

Hey Chris what reel are you putting on your volkey. I put a daiwa alphas R on mine an love it. Very light combo perfect for bass

some really nice gear people are using, especially looking all the pimpin' up on aftermarket handle and spools. Not much pimping you can do to a rod though

Yes mate I've had a few sessions with the reel, it's extremely smooth, and has a nice sounding drag Havent tried rod yet but feels great.

Need to get a small RCS handle asap though...
