I really find it ironic that Daiwa are the go to 'bling' reel (Megabass notwithstanding) yet the packaging looks like cheap recycled cardboard with basic black printing on it. What is that all about?

I guess they figure you spend enough on the reel without needing to get slugged on the box graphics as well. Alternatively, it may be a ploy to fool the partners...

No honestly honey, it was only a cheapy... See how plain the box is...
