To be honest i haven't fished with any Daiwa low profile baitcasters. The only Daiwa BC i have is a Ryoga and that is tank compared to these Revos.
But the LT feels good. Pretty smooth though not the smoothest reel i've felt. The spool is really light. The plan is to find a nice rod to suit and fish with it for a while then maybe look at bearing upgrades later on.
Nice, let us know how it goes when you find a rod. They have taken my eye lately and get pretty good reviews, at half the $ of a steez they seem like a top reel for the cost...

Will do. Yeah, value for money was why i picked this reel. Been dying to get out and start bass fishing so was looking for something to cast light lures in freshwater. I was told about the Revo LT which is saltwater safe and cost much less than the other reel i had in mind. It just sucks because you can't find too much info on the LT on the internet so it was sort of a blind purchase for me but im sure it'll be good

Btw - it was $260 delivered. Ordered it on Thurs and got it this morning.

Never

I didnt like the old ones because the handles felt to close to the reel, in comparison to the saltigas.

But the new stellas look pretty bloody mint and the changes the handles I would probably look into getting one

We recently got the new Abu casting reels into work and for the price I was very surprised! Even the revo S for $149 actually feels amazing I'm actually considering selling my zillion and getting one
