I'm not a Daiwa fanboy but that handle looks really good on the Luvias. Like you said it matches the spool well. I just can't take to the look of the Exist I think it is too over the top. It doesn't look as classy as the previous model. Just my thoughts.

So the zillion is for the heavier stuff and the steez is more for finesse? What lb braid you got on each? How much did the zillion set you back mate and what rod have you got it on?

Thinking about getting myself a bait cast combo soon. Sick of losing spinnerbaits on my 12lb thread line outfits in the timber haha

$412 for the zillion including conversion rate to yen going to put either 25lb or 20lb possibly even 30lb if its a good PE.

Yes the running 15lb super pe on the steez and it will be more for finesse work bass and goldens the zillion is a beast compared to the steez perfect for cod of all sizes may get another mb rod which suits the steez more, waiting for those new mb casting rods to come out and will get a 12lb one.

Right now the zillion is sitting on a heartland Z plug sniper even though both the rods have the same line rating 20lb and cast weights the MB feels the stronger rod but is also more capable of casting lighter lures probably because of its extra length being 6'6" hense why the steez is on it for now.

The J dream looks amazinf on the Megabass but actually feels really nice on the heartland even better than the steez feels on the heartland Z.

Myself and Tom (kiwiangler) are going to the Ovens river for the next 3 days leaving tomorrow so both combo's will get a good workout up there and hopefully we will both catch our first cod, can't wait will do a report when I get back either friday or saturday with heaps of pics

The zillion is an awesome reel feels super strong and very well put together.

Great reels mate, that zillion looks awesome, now if you catch a good cod by yourself land based and you have to pit your rod down just cut the line no one wants to scratch a reel that looks that good pisser reels mate let us know how they go
