I use Decoys in the racks and I haven't bent many. I find them stronger than most other bands. I'd swap them after each session if I could afford it but I only swap them during comps usually. I've got a good hook sharpener that works a treat.

I use the red handle one. Got it locally for about $25 I think.

I really don't think it is nessary to change trebs after every sesh yer sure if they have been bashed around and you can feel they are blunt then change them but decoys are $1.2 ea at the chapest I've seen and $2.4 to spend on every lure I use I wouldn't want to change lures much or I'd go bankrupt I use decoys yo replace all my blunt trebles and decoys are good becasue of the curved point they keep there point really good and stay sharp for ages

Mate I find owners are puss in the small bream sizes - snap more than I'd care to imagine pulling them out of fish, havent really had any issues and find them just as sticky

If I haven't hooked any fish then I will reuse them, if I've had a cracker sesh and I can tell the hook point is blunt they go in the bin, especially if that big fish comes along I wouldn't trust nothing but needle point.

More for piece of mind really, when I lose fish I put it down to the trebles and replacing them constantly and checking them after a few fish I've noticed a difference. It's not uncommon for me to go threw a pack of decoys a session tho.

A do a fair amount of crank baiting with fluro, the gauge in the decoys just seem to penetrate better with less pressure, owners definitely don't like pliers tho! I've snapped a fair few but have had less trouble with the 12's myself.

same with me but it has also happened to my decoys. I like decoys better if I want a hook that sticks.

Is there times where you don't want a hook that sticks?

Have you ever hooked yourself in the gentleman's region?

Keeping the ball rolling! getting ready for a couple days prefishing the Basin for the SSBS on the 4th/5th so will miss going to BETS GF weigh in, ah well. Tools of the trade! Anyone got any secret hints on how to get your rods tidy when they're laying on the deck? I like having them like this but i'm worried about them banging and clanging together! I only have 3 on the deck, 2 in action and 3 in the locker (most of the time)
