Hmm maybe thats how I'm killing my Stella 18000's!Saltiga 6500's are next to replace the old ones I have for popping. I'll respool them and use the olds for jigging outfits.
Chief, gambling is a waste of money and my car does all it needs to and then sum! Bloody women just cost a shed load of money up front or later down the track, no matter they get ya! LOL
With my divorce settlement only recently gone through after a 5 year battle, it's time to reward myself! hehe
I was recently going to sell the boat and get a new one but pulled the pin and decided to do up the old one. New motors and all but still saved near $200k by keeping the old girl compared to a 35fter with triples.... 8ft and an extra 400hp was'nt worth the upgrade I felt so fishing gear was NEXT on the update list.
Totally agree with you with the Dogfights. They are made for popping, yet they make it so much harder than it needs to be, you put any pressure on them during the fight and they won't last too long. We blew up two of them in Fiji last year. I've got 2 stella 20,000SW's and the gear ratio for them is a bit lower than dogfights but not as low as the 18000's. Perfect balance for me

Nagz the old black one is a 6.2 where the exp and the standards are 4.3. I still feel the new H model at 5.7 will still be to high for my liking.

The Stella 18k is 5.7 but the spool is smaller in diameter than the Saltigas which makes the Stella easier to wind.
The 20k is a 4.4.

Put the new Yammie 250 4's on the back. Just got back from a river test. Hole shot is just amazing compared to the Etec's and so much more quieter!
No more XD100 for me! In a full year running to burn over$5k in oil is just plain stupid!
With no trim and 600lt of fuel in it I hit 50kn within a 800m stretch of the Georges river whilst dodging logs and rubbish and the things are just straight out of the box!

Can't wait to get back on the water, she's been out since the end of October last year and it's been doing my head in!

There are 4 things cranka needs
- sinking stick baits but slender and 55mm
- shallow and deep diving 60mm minnow

They are going on my Millerods control freaks.

Hahahaha No time for prozzies that boat is always away from its home

Nice reels, how do they compair to the last exist?

Cheers
