Crosscurrent GLX is a beast of a rod. 10wt is interesting tug....what are you planning on chasing with it?

i tend just to though a 6/0 heavyly weighted clouser at the trout and try hit em hard enough to knock em out and then use the 6/0 to hook em

Really hoping to nail a longtail on fly this year, caught my fair share on conventional tackle but getting one on fly will be a real challenge.

The deep throat is more of an all rounder, leaning towards hardbodies, the kirisame is a definate plastics rod. They both have heaps of grunt in the butt section, but the kirisame has a super light tip section, whereas the deep throat has more of a progressive mid-tip flex.
