I'm not talking about the switch itself. I'm talking about the actual mechanism that stops the rotor from spinning backwards. None of the MB reels have a switch that turns that mechanism off, and that I don't mind at all. What I don't like, is that the idaten x and idaten 100 don't have an instant anti reverse clutch that stops the rotor from spinning backwards immediately, giving them a small amount of backplay. Crap like that should be a thing of the past. Even most cheap chinese rip off reels have instant anti reverse now days.

It is because they are based of ISO reels which originally have a anti reverse lever.
