You'd have to (carefully) strip enough of the rear grip back to fit the balancing cap, stripping the cork back to the blank, and then key the blank up lightly, and then pack enough wraps of masking tape to fit the new cap snuggly....Im not 100% sure how much rear grip you'd have left to fit the new cap, as you'd know the vapors only have a very small rear grip....thats how I'd tackle it though. thanks heaps mate. looking at my rod now i'd probably have to strip off the entire butt to fit it in which case it probably isn't worth it. i think it's time for a change and a new rod anyway
