I tried it several times. You definitely feel the advantage but it does take some getting used to. I think my next BC setup will be a lefty.

Any reason for left hand retrieve other then if you cast on the right side and you wind on the left you never have to switch hands (if you guys get what I mean)? Also benefits if your a righty too you have your dominant hand lifting.

It's much easier to get the most action out of a lure with my dominant handle.
Also easier to fight fish with my dominant hand

should just be winding with what your comfortable with, there is no "correct" way. im a left hand wind too but i cast with my left arm also..

The term "correct" was used in a humorous context bud
Obviously you aren't going to wind in an uncomfortable fashion, and I would never suggest that you do.
I clearly stated the advantages that I have found with this method
Don't turn it into something it's not aye
The last thing needed is another pointless debate
