not married........ anymore
10years of buying millers, thats only 3 a year!
All are true customs with gold cermets till fuji stopped making them....
As I said to others, I only buy other brands while I wait for my Millers to be built!
Yes they can take ages, one was 18 months but it was the start of the wharfie series thats now a part of his range. I asked for a 6ft rod with balls to pull bream out of the wharves around the harbour. Others like the beast buster long casts that split at the grip like a jig rod, that was a 12 month wait but it did take many blanks before one was found that wouldn't pop at the join.
Have only ever sold one miller that I broke 4" off the tip by stepping on it while laying on the deck otherwise all still in the collection.
Best wait time in a rod, 3 days to my door. 2x Mad Miller 80's. They were in stock and about to be released, lucky timing of the phone call!
Other brands I tend to buy in rods, love the fisherman jigging rods and the ripple fisher pop rods. I even have Ian building me a Ripple fisher jigging blank into a spiral wrap for a Ryoga I have at home. Should be a fun little PE2 outfit once done!
Of late I have taken the fly back up, now that stuffs expensive for such basic reels! You can buy 3 branzinos for the price of a custom Abel in this country!

Sounds good mate!! I wish I could afford Megabass reels but hey you can't have everything. My 3 main combos currently are:

Megabass Deep Throat - Steez 2004
Megabass Lycaon - Steez 2004
Megabass Saratoga - Steez 2508

We wont worry about the other stuff.

You forgot to mention that a bunch of them where millenniums , that's a serious spending history. Bet Ian's singing "I like Greg lee" every night as he goes to sleep

Cheers
