Hey Everyone, this is the rod viking1 and I have been making, I love it, thanks for the help viking1 for making my first rod. They are the best (samurai rod blank) ...Now the pictures...

One of viking1's custom rods I bought off him, it is pe 2-4 and is the first rod in australia to have glow in the dark rod binding! Cheers Mate.

Mr post office had a gift for me today, The 2000 ballistics feel pretty nice. Cant wait to get stuck into a few trevs with it. Worst picture camera is dead... I might try again tomorrow with the camera.

Nagz if you go back a fair bit in this thread i am pretty sure there is some crazy fly fishing bling provided by trout_bum i think.

I have my eye on the blue one in 9wt, matched up to either a sage xi3 or loomis nrx. long was off til I get it, but can't wait

There are plenty of good things said about the NRX so hard to go wrong there i think. But for the rods your looking at, doing the homework is well worth it.

Yeah, there is a bit out there on the nrx, however there isn't much on it in regards to Aussie saltwater, except for maybe one or two write ups. Trust me, I've been searching for ages
