Finally found a brand new Daiwa battler flanker, still had price tag, plastic wrapping and daiwa sock for it. Fairly happy.

Not super blingy but my new reel on my 2-4 luvias. Spooled with 4lb Basshard. Pretty bad picture but you get the idea :P

Not very good a taking pics of rods lol! Tried just then I'll use this one from 2 weeks ago. It was the first fish on it 39 at the fork.

2010 2500 certate on a Daiwa Black Label 3-5lb very fast action rod but loads right to the forgrip.

i think this is a issue of definitions and varying understandings of those definitions.

You can have a fast tapered rod with a light action, so that it can be suited to plastics and that, whips straight back into place, but still loads up very easy. I think thats what fun fisher means.

I think rods like those are awesome, just wish there were more around like them. The custom i built from my girlfriend is very similar, very fast but so light it loads up from the foregrip almost like an egi rod.

Keen to try those rods out, not a fan of the futuristic neo grip but a good rod is a good rod.

Our of curiosity fun fisher how come you chose a 2500 certate over say a 2004 for that rod?
